Blue Derby Trails

The most famous addition to the Tasmanian trail network, the Blue Derby Mountain Bike area has become one of the most coveted trail areas in the country. The highlight is the fantastic scenery through stunning old growth forest coupled with magnificent trails built with amazing attention to detail. The area has something for everyone, from easier introductory trails right through to challenging ascents/descents with some of the more recent trails used in the Enduro World Series events.

On this tour, we can customise the day to suit the group with numerous options available. The tour begins in Launceston with Hotel pickup at 8.30am before the scenic drive through the picturesque north east to Derby. We then spend the day on the Mountain bikes with a break for lunch st one of the cafe’s in the area. More riding in the afternoon before returning to Launceston. Mountain bikes and equipment is available for hire. Ask about the option of combining this trip with Hollybank to make a great two-day experience.

Cost: $345 includes transport, guide, lunch/snacks and hardtail bike hire.  Dual Suspension bike add $100.
